Banner Monkey is an easy to use online website for creating personalised banners. You can choose a background, put on their name, and even, a photograph and then banner monkey will do the rest and send it straight to you in a couple of days. But how big are they?

We understand how important it is to make sure you choose the right size banner for your event and sometimes it can be difficult to tell what size something will be just by looking at the measurements. So to help you, below we have created a scale so that you can see the size of each banner against an everyday object, a person¹.

What are the banners made from?

Our banners are made from a high quality PVC vinyl. All banners come with eyelets and our larger banners are re-enforced with a banner finishing tape.

Delivery

Unlike a lot of online businesses, Banner Monkey don't believe in making people go through the entire ordering process before they find out how much delivery is going to cost. Here is a list of our delivery charges, including VAT.

How do I know I'm safe

All Banner Monkeys monetary transactions are securely handled by the world renowned and trusted PayPal. As all your order details are processed through PayPal, they take care of everything for us including your payment details, we don't get to know your card or bank details, so you are guaranteed a safe and reliable transaction. We do keep some information about you from your order, but we promise never to share that with any other company, Monkey's Honour! All details we collect from you are passed via a secure socket, so that no underhanded, sneaky types can get access to this either.

Is there anything else I should know?

Colours

As you can see from the photos above, all our banners look sharp and vibrant, so you're always going to get a stunning looking banner. But, one thing that we should mention is that the colours that you see on screen may not always be exactly the same as the colours that are printed. There are a couple or reasons why this happens; for a start, different screens show colors differently. There is also a difference in the way screens produce colour and the way colours are printed.

Colin, our resident "Geekey", tells me that it is to do with the way that colour is created. On things like computer screens, where light is being generated, Red, Green, or Blue light is combined to get the desired colour and if you use the maximum amount of light for each colour you produce white (see the top image on the left).

However, when you print onto material you're starting with a white background and have to add Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta inks, which are mixed together to get the desired colour, and if you mix them all together you get black (see the bottom image on the left).

To be honest, trying to understand how all that works drives me bananas. We just want to be completely honest and open with you and let you know that some colours may not be exactly the same, but they'll be pretty darn close, and still look awesome!
